The Editor, Becky Beasley, has been producing bookworks and related material since 1994. In the beginning this was in the form of small editions (12-21copies) of hand-produced books of her own writings. In 1997 she published an edition of 100 copies of 'SCAPE' (OOP), a series of her own short writings, which she funded by inviting friends to pay £10 a advance for a copy of the book when published, plus life-time notification of her activities if they discussed the book with her. Through this Beasley raised the £500 necessary to publish the book.
The production of 'How to Stay Hungry : An Interview with Hannah Collins' was undertaken by Beasley; from research, to conducting the interview itself, to transcription, to employing designers, to funding the costs of the entire venture, to distribution.
