These works show some of the early works with objects, prior to the point at which the solution to the simultaneous interest in both the domestic object and architecture and space were solved. This point of development can be seen most clearly through the three images in the centre of the images below; the paper bag work (The Gift (single image) , or Dead Air (pair of images) and then the first photographs made using the two acacia box works (see also H for Hut) as their subject. |
