The Movies

(2003- )

The series of photographs began in 2003 in Madrid and Athens as a way of making use of the time spent moving from one place to the next whilst running errands. The tactic continued on returning to London.

Despite technology, things still have to be delivered, dropped off, collected, dragged, pushed and pulled around all the time.

It is about the movement of objects from one place to the next, the bits in between the still-life.

These pictures are studies of how things move, and the ways people find to get on with the day and its inherent series of errands.
